The boyfriend sweater

Hola chicas,

Disculpenme por tenerlas un poco abandonada.  Ya les había contado que la universidad se ha apoderado hasta de mi respiración.  Aparte de estilismo de moda , recientemente inicié mis estudios de “Image Consulting”( consultora de imagen) en Fashion Institute of Tecnology. Estoy sùper emociona , porque esto es otro escalón para mi carrera profesional. Estoy aprendiendo muchísimo y les prometo compartir con ustedes todo el conocimiento y aplicarlo a mis próximos looks para ofrecerles un mejor contenido y tips que les ayuden destacar los puntos a su favor. Lo bueno se comparte.

Sobre este look. Este sweater lo comprè para mi hermano.La etiqueta nunca especifico el genero así que me lo puse, funcionó y me encantó. Porque limitarnos a atracar el closet de nuestra mamà o hermana , teniendo opciones en el del hermano o novio.

Pero aquí viene el detalle.

Ojo si no sabemos como usarlo podríamos vernos con 20 libras de más, como " marimacho" o simplemente como si tuviéramos 10 muchachos acabadas y arruinada. Y eso nunca!!!!

Aquí les dejo unas reglas básicas para usarlo.

1-Usa tacones. A menos que seas size 2 con 6pies de altura.

2- Agrega accesorios, un collar, un cinturón, unos aretes. Para un look más chic y femenino.

3. Opta por unos leggins o pantalones pitillo. Ni se te ocurra ponerte una pieza ancha debajo.

I’m sorry for having you abandoned. It’s being a wile with out posting. But seriously school is taking all my time. Besides the Fashion Styling certificate I’m doing I recently enroll for an Image-Consulting certificate as well at FIT. I’m so glad to share this news with you. It’s very important for my professional goals and to offer you better content.  I’m learning so much, and I promise to share all the knowledge with you girls, and apply it in my upcoming outfits.

About this look. I bought this sweater for my brother.  And I actually like it for me, so I try it on and it works. And like the tag, doesn’t specify the gender.  Why only dig through your mom and sister closet. There could be some interesting pieces in your boyfriend and brother wardrobe.

But this is a tricky trend, and not easy to wear. You could look sloppy and like a tomboy if you don’t wear  it properly.

Here are some tips.

1 1-Heels a plus.  Unless you are size 2 and 6’’tall.

22-  Add accessories, like a statement necklace, a belt, and rings for a chic look and give the girly taste.

33-  Slim -fitting bottoms are a most. To keep your look from looking sloppy. Don’t you dare wear loose pants, unless you want to look like a tomboy.
